Experts of FSBI TsNIGRI and FSBI Rosgeolfond assess the potential of cloud geoinformation technologies used by the China Geological Survey

On October 14-16, 2019, TsNIGRI hosted a regular meeting of its representatives and a delegation of the China Geological Survey’s Center for Science and Development, which revisited Russia.

On October 14, 2019, the delegation of China Geological Survey’s Center for Science and Development presented the Chinese new-generation geological research complex, the distributed platform for geological surveys (GSISP) and its components (DGSS, DGSGIS). The system is designed for real-time automated centralized geological data acquisition through cloud technologies and calculations for inferred resource estimation, geological exploration activities and registration of report materials.

To discuss the system potential and its use in joint research, D. B. Arakcheev, General Director of FSBI Rosgeolfond and top experts of this agency were invited.
