On November 29, 2019, participants of the Russian youth scientific and practical seminar "New ideas in the knowledge of ore formation processes" held in IGEM RAS, visited FSBI TsNIGRI. The meeting was organized by TsNIGRI Council of young scientists.

A.I. Ivanov, Scientific Director of the institute, welcomed the audience. E.E. Kotelnikov, Head of the international relations department, spoke about TsNIGRI activities. E.A. Naumov, Head of precious metals department, lectured about the innovative X-ray tomography method.

A tour of the museum "Precious, base metal and diamond ores" was held. M.P. Brysin, M.N., Zaitseva, N.N. Bogoslavets and D.A. Shumilin, young TsNIGRI scientists, acted as guides. Rock and ore samples representing top geological and economic base and precious metal deposit types were exposed. The guides showed their great professional experience.

The Organizing Committee of the seminar appreciated TsNIGRI staff for a tour of the museum.
